Donations Make A Library Special.
The Casey Public Library, like all public entities, is primarily funded by tax dollars appropriated by the City, County, and State. This money pays for all operational funds. Such as the lights, the staff, and everything else that keeps our doors open.
You may be wondering, "What pays for programs, furniture, computers, and all the other things that set my library apart?"
The answer is simple: Donations.
Whether it be from a large company grant, a foundation making a difference in our community, memorials given in memory of loved a one, or you throwing a dollar in the donation box, they all help make the Casey Public Library special.
