Donations Help Make A Library Special.

The Casey Public Library, like all public entities, is primarily funded by tax dollars appropriated to us by the City, County, and State. This money pays for all operational funds. Such as the lights, the staff, and everything else that keeps our doors open.

You may be wondering,What pays for Books, DVDs, Programs, Furniture, Computers, and all of those other things that set my library apart from the rest.
That answer is simple: Donations.

Whether it be from a large company that donates money through grants, a foundation making a difference in the communities, memorials given in memory of loved ones, generous people donating, or you throwing in a dollar in the donation box,
they all help us make real change happen in our area.

If you would like to help us by making a donation or recommending a grant please talk to our Library Director, Mrs. Charlsie Dougherty.
